Quality Assurance

 

Saskiasoft Technologies uses a Project Management methodology (PRINCE 2) and a Quality Management System (STQMS), which are compliant with BS6079 the Project management Standard and BS/EN/ISO9000 the Quality Management Standard and with many other national and international standards.

 

PRINCE is a structured method for effective management of any size or type of project. It is the standard method for use in UK Government Departments and is widely used in Local Government and the private sector. Other Governments and multi-national companies have adopted the method.

 

Project Management (PRINCE 2)

The principal benefits of PRINCE 2 are that it:

 

  • makes the project's progress more visible to management;
  • involves senior management in the project at the right time and at the right level
  • facilitates controls at all levels
  • helps ensure that all Project Deliverables are produced on time and to budget;
  • focuses attention on the quality of Products/Deliverables

Saskiasofts' Quality Management System (SQMS) involves Staff at all levels of the organization from Director to trainee. It focuses on continual development and improvement of the organization, people and methods, which drive the quality of delivered products.

 

An initiative is in progress to have Saskiasoft assessed for SEI CMM Level 4 compliance by mid next year.

 

One Team Approach

 

We follow a one-team approach in our Outsourced Product Development Assignments. A dedicated team at Saskiasoft is designated to work directly and in tandem with the Client's Development team. The team also is totally controlled, managed and report to the Client's Project Manger and Project Director, hence except for their physical location, the team at Saskiasoft is all but an extended product development team of the Client.
